2018 Save The Dates!

Sky Foundation’s Young Professional Group (YPG)

Led by board member, Lauren Eaton, Sky Foundation holds monthly Happy Hour get-togethers in order to come up with ideas to spread awareness and raise funding for pancreatic cancer.  Just recently, Lauren Eaton & Annie Dalton were involved in the local fundraiser “Who’s Your Bartender” which was held at Dick’O’Dows in Birmingham, MI.  They successfully raised more than $6,000 during the event.  They are always on the look out for “young professionals” to join the group and continue to great work for Sky Foundation.  There will be a summer fundraiser coming soon and we hope to see YOU there! Contact Annie @ 248-385-5143 to find out more information about the YPG.

Fifth Annual Women’s Event

Wednesday, May 2, 2018

One hundred and twenty women gathered together at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, MI to hear the latest in pancreatic cancer research.  Sky Foundation invited Alicia Smith to emcee the evening and introduce three wonderful researchers; Dr. Clare Thibodeaux (Cures Within Reach, Chicago, IL), Dr. Gazala Khan (Henry Ford Health System, Detroit, MI) and Dr. Timothy Frankel (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI).  The researchers spoke about recent trials and research updates which provided a great deal of hope for those who have encountered the disease personally.
