General Motors Turns Detroit’s RenCen Tower Purple to Support the Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer

To raise awareness of pancreatic cancer and mark the week surrounding Sky Foundation’s gala lunch on November 8, General Motors turned the towers at its world headquarters purple, the color that denotes the disease.

The lunch is Sky’s premier annual event and fundraiser. To raise awareness and help promote the event, Joanne Purtan of ABC’s Channel 7 Action News interviewed Sheila Sky Kasselman, a survivor of the disease and founder of Sky Foundation.
