Our Ninth Annual Lunch was a rousing success raising over $309,000 in gross profits. Hosting our event was the fabulous Rod Meloni who led us through a stunning night of dining, auctions and our 2017 featured video. The night began with an extravagant silent auction assembled by our Fundraising Committee who worked endlessly on retrieving donated items. A live auction lead by Christopher Aslanian who raffled off trips to Italy, a $1,000 shopping spree to Somerset, a private viewing experience in the Emagine Theatre and many more! 2018 will be our 10th year of existence at Sky and we are thrilled to bring a whole new vibe to our largest event of the year!

Sky Foundation’s Young Professionals Group has began training for the marathon they are taking part of in October. Each member of the YPG has created their own fundraising page on Crowdrise to display their story and show support for Sky Foundation.
If you are interested in supporting Sky Foundation and running is a hobby of yours, sign up for the run and choose Sky Foundation as your non profit foundation you wish to support. Join us in raising awareness for research of the early detection of pancreatic cancer!

Welcoming Bruce Bloom, Cures Within Reach
President of Sky Foundation, Carol Quigley opened her beautiful home to the governing board and advisory board members to an optimistic evening learning of what Sky holds in store for the remainder of 2017. Bruce Bloom was a wonderful addition to the evening informing members of Sky of Cures Within Reach’s technique of repurposing medicine, taking a different approach in defeating pancreatic cancer once discovered in the body.

Sky Foundation would like to thank Lauren Eaton & Tracy Mohaidheen for their excellent bartending! With the two ladies behind the bar, Sky Foundation was able to raise enough money to reach our $1,500 goal! We would also like to thank our volunteers who engaged with the guests and sold Sky Foundation Koozies. Thank you to Annie Dalton, Courtney Robinette, Jenna Hasian, Ashley Arens & Edie Meyers!
