Jay brings both professional dedication and profound personal insight to the board as a seven-year pancreatic cancer survivor. Following his 2018 diagnosis, he completed a Whipple procedure and chemotherapy. He has a deep commitment to advancing pancreatic cancer research and patient support. For 27 years, Jay has served as a social studies educator for Howell Public Schools in Michigan most recently at their Innovation Academy, where he continues to inspire students.
